Guys, I've heard good things about Goplan, and as a Basecamp since day one customer, I'm eager to give an alternative solution a try. I looked hard at all the other pages trying to see whether there are any "private" functions and/or how you manage what 'collaborators' have access to project materials. Definitely a tough issue, but one I'd love for someone to solve better than Basecamp currently does. Am I correct in assuming Goplan has *no* private views at present?

Also, rollover description of task and comments on the dashboard. When you rollover the task name you get a popup or tool-tip with the comment itself of the description of th task/ticket.

I think Anggie's and Tijs's suggestions are right on the money. I would have recommended similar suggestions. I also have a couple of other suggestion that i would really want to see you guys consider in this great app that you've created.

1) Instead of the textile editor perhaps use a jquery editor for comments - spmething like lwrte or jwysiwyg to get the markup in the commeting and discription inputs

2) A global Company calendar that show's all task/miletones/tickets/etc. from all projects that can be filtered by type, assigned to, etc. - i think this would be useful in project planning.

3) Commment on comments, quoting comments and replying to comments with email notification to the original commenter that someone had replied to their comment.

4) I think Tijs' idea of uploading on comments is great also there could be the option of tagging comments and linking comments to related tasks.tickets/etc. through tags the same way you link task and so on

I'll leave it at 4 for now but i have many more suggestions and i know you guys have your hands full. I hope you guys would think it a good idea to implement these options i think they would make an even great app even better.

Thanks for the great app! We love it here at Global.

Also, an upload feature when commenting, like on Basecamp. It's really easy when you need to add a screenshot or a file related to the comment.

Thanks for this great tool!

I agree with the Email as Important feature, you should be able to set a default globally, and per project maybe?

I've been using goplan (startup plan) for a few days with my clients and subcontractors. I like it!

Some suggestions/feature requests:
* preview mode for messages
* private discussions
* enable email notification to everyone in a project by default. At least allow me to set the default for each project. We missed some messages because we forgot to check "email as important"
* invitation status report on the dashboard/people page. Right now it's impossible to tell whether my invitations have been accepted or still pending.

You rock!\m/-|-\m/
