Since I don't own a credit card at the moment, I love you use PayPal at the moment. Please keep PayPal as an option.

Cheers,
Sido

Last time I checked PayPal still didn't allow for a customer to be able to setup a RECURRING payment without having a PayPal account. But I guess the same applies to Amazon and Google.

Like Steve just mentioned, I too am currently integrating Website Payments Pro with a webapp and it allows seamless integration for non-Paypal users, not even forwarding users through a PP page. All calls are made via API and all pages are your own. Even if you only use the basic features, you can allow credit card payments through PayPal without any of the more advanced features , via an encrypted URL that sends all your info to PP to be processed by either a logged in user or anyone else entering a CC number.

Keep it up guys

Paypal does have several ways of handling online payments. Since they acquired the gateway services of Verisign, their capabilities have really grown. You can now have a completely inclusive payment option right on your own site, that is seamless and separate from Paypal altogether.

I own a web development company that does a ton of ecommerce work. We have our own ecommerce system and we've done this form of Paypal integration in recent history. This more advanced gateway option with Paypal has only really been available in the last couple of years, but it works just as well as Authorizenet if it's integrated in the same way. The fees to the merchant are less too.

You guys are using the most basic form of Paypal payment integration, requiring the user to jump out to Paypal's site to render payment. You definitely have better options to explore with Paypal though. Just some food for thought...
