Downtime

Tiago Macedo on October 5, 2006, Comments (3)

You might have noticed by now that Goplan is down. This is due to the fact that Amazon EC2 (where Goplan is deployed) is performing some upgrades.

All,

We will be performing upgrades to our beta software in Amazon EC2 data centers over the next few hours, and you may not be able to reach your instances for up to several hours. We will let you know when upgrades are complete. The upgrade should not result in any loss of data, and you will not be charged for this inaccessible time. Apologies in advance for any inconvenience, and we appreciate your support.

Sorry for the inconvenience. We’ll be back in a few hours.

UPDATE: We are back up.

Jim

That’s great to know :)

I’m curious, where does the database reside since data on EC2 is non-persistant.

Karina

Hi, I’m researching a project management system for my company and am wondering how I can get on the invite list. Thanks!

Hi Karina – please send me an email (awseditor@amazon.com) and we’ll help you out.

Something to say?
